I Can Help!

For the past fifteen years I have assisted clients with real estate and business related issues. I am a sole practitioner, with experience in the following areas.

Business and Real Estate Litigation

I have handled both real estate and business cases (for plaintiffs and defendants) including initial investigation, drafting the complaint, handling discovery, attending depositions, attending trial and prosecuting appeals. In particular, I have handled matters involving the following subject matters:

• Fraud/breach of fiduciary duty/negligence on the part of real estate brokers, mortgage brokers, escrow companies and title companies.
  
  
• Breach of contract/fraud cases on behalf of both purchasers and sellers of real estate.
  
  
• Suits by shareholders of businesses against Board of Directors and Officers.
  
  
• Suits by partners against other members of partnership.
  
  
• Suits by purchasers and sellers of small businesses.
  
  
• Suits by landowners against neighbors for encroachment of property boundaries.
  
  
• Suits by owners of property against co-owners (joint tenants, co-tenants)

Business and Real Estate Transactions:

I have advised small business owners and real estate owners regarding the following issues:

• Business formation and dissolution (corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships).
  
  
• Prepare purchase contracts for real estate, draft grant deeds and easements.
  
  
• Prepare purchase and sale agreements for acquisition of small businesses.
  
  
• Assist owners of vacant land obtain entitlements (subdivision map, lot split, easement).
  
  
• Act as house counsel for small businesses.
  
  
• Compliant by City/County against property owner (building code violations).
  
  
• Review and draft commercial leases.
